But we just wanted to stay in touch with you all and up date our prayer requests with you. We continue to maximize family fellowship and packing time. While we plan to leave for Japan on the 10th of April we will arrive in Japan on April 11th. My wording last time was not clear regarding these dates. PRAYER NEEDS * TOMOKO OTAKE LAST TIME we mentioned that Tomoko's father was doing well... He has TAKEN A TURN FOR THE WORSE. The surgery for stomach cancer left too small of an opening between the stomach and intestine. He is again in the hospital on IVs to build him up for corrective surgery. Please continue to pray for Tomoko's father's complete healing, and especially that these events will lead to the salvation of Tomoko's parents and her brother and sister. Please pray for her as she seeks God's guidance for both the near future and the long term issues she faces these days. PRAISE God together with us for her vital and effective ministry during this past year with us. God has used Tomoko in many unique ways among a variety of people. * ERIKA MORIGUCHI We had a nice long talk with Erika a few days ago. Hearing her voice and sharing and praying encouraged us greatly. She is endeavoring to share the love of Jesus Christ with her roommates. Areas to take before the Lord for her are: +Erika's wisdom for witness to her roommates of the Mormon persuasion. +Continued spiritual growth as a disciple of Jesus; +Growing facility in English; +Studies & classes leading to graduation; +"...not conformed to this world..." Please pray all of Romans 12:1&2 for her. * Pray for the need our Ministry Account now faces as we prepare to return to Japan. PRAISE God also for His great provision for us from the first. * Pray also for Cheryl's mother and ourselves as we continue through the grieving process these days. Know that we are not without wonderful memories and rejoice in those. We also know and experience the Holy Spirit as Comforter these days.
